The data we keep
Sarifle is used by the public and by exchangers. Here is what we keep, what is shown, and where our responsibility ends.
People who read the site
We use no tracking cookies and keep no data about you. The rates can be read without registering.
Responsibility: what “licensed” means
Sarifle (this website) is not responsible for any exchanger listed on it, whether licensed or not. “Licensed” means an admin checked that the person exists and holds a license, and that they looked trustworthy to us. It is not a guarantee or a promise. You pay the exchanger directly, and we do not handle payments. Before you pay, use your own judgement and experience, and check that the account holder name matches the exchanger. If you have a problem, use “Report a problem” on the exchanger's card and an admin will look at it.
Exchangers: what we keep
Your name, business name, city, phone numbers, merchant accounts (type, number and account holder name), your photo (if you add one) and your rates. Your PIN is stored in a form that cannot be read back, and so is your private link.
What the public page shows
Only what you agreed to: your name, business, city, phone numbers, merchant accounts, photo and latest rate. Until your license is checked you are shown as “not licensed”. Only licensed exchangers count towards the market rate.
The license
An admin checks your license (by a call, personal knowledge or looking at it), but no photo of the license is stored.
We do not pass it on
We do not sell your data or give it to third parties, except the people who run the site.
Deleting and changing
To have your data deleted or changed, contact the admins. Once your license is checked, changes are confirmed by a call.
